All of these catalogs were sent to Pop when he was in business as Mauler Brothers. As stated on our history page Mauler Brothers was wholesale toy, novelty, beach suppies, school supplies, and notions operation. Pop and his father and uncles before him and their father before them, sold to small ‘mom and pop stores’ and private beaches before the bay bridge was built linking the western shore with the eastern shores of Maryland and Delaware. You will mainly find toy companies on this list but there are others such as Aladdin who sold oil lamps as well as lunch boxes, Federal who sold shot gun shells, or Fuld & Co. who sold greeting cards.
Most of these catalogs are in very good to mint condition. Some have notes that Pop or his partners made neatly written next to the item. Many have letters and price list sheets, (usually just black and white copies), and are signed in many cases, by the owner/president of the company. I am sorry that I just can’t find the time to scan every catlalog so you can see it. But I highly suggest you read through the list. I will be glad to send a black and white photo copy of the cover if you send a SASE to 7711 Apple Ave. Jessup, MD 20794, along with the copies you would like. If I only have one copy of a catalog I will not sell it but I can scan it and sell you a scan copy at the going rate. In most cases I do have more than one copy. You can also request certain pages for your favorite toy etc. If not stated catalogs are mint. Enjoy!
